The 11th SAORI Worcester’s Study and Friendship Tour in 2024 is

Date: May 14-27, 2024 (Arrival on 14th and departure on 27th in Japan)

Maximum participants : 7 people ( it will be a go with 4people)

Fee: $3600 Excludes airfare. Include all the accommodations, breakfast, group activities, 4 group meals(except drink), and all group transportation.

Please pay $1600 deposit when you apply for the tour. The balance due is April 10. 

Mihoko has been conducting a 2-week Japan tour since 2005. Her tour is not only visiting the SAORI Studios in Osaka but also visiting Buddhist temples, shrines, hot springs to understand the culture in depth. She has coordinated the itinerary with the tour members depending on their interests and she planned mix of individual times and group activities. The success of the tours has been based on the good communication which Mihoko set time everyday for checking in and sharing their experiences and feelings. There are more than 4 people who returned to Japan in her tour, which shows the value of the unique experience on this tour.

This is all organized by Mihoko.  It means that this tour is a private tour with her. You need to take care of your own flight itinerary and travel insurance. 

SAORI weaving is a common language on the tour. I strongly recommend all participants who have experience SAORI before the tour including their family member who join the tour.

This time Mihoko is planning to have a weaving retreat (2.5-3 day) at Flora House in Yufuin, Oita. She will teach and assist what people want to learn.

Mihoko plans to accept application in December 15, 2023. Please contact Mihoko for the application form and send a deposit for $1600 by check. The balance due date is April 13th.
