Book review:  ''Saori, Self-discovery Through Weaving''

The long-anticipated English version of Saori, Self-discovery Through Weaving, by Misao Jo and Kenzo Jo is here! It's a wonderful book! Part art book, part instruction manual, and part living philosophy, it drew me further into the creative possibilities of Saori weaving. The book makes weaving accessible to everyone, even armchair weavers. When I can't be weaving, I often browse through both the fashion pictures and the instructions. The glorious textures and colors are produced by weavers who are young or old or mentally or physically challenged, but one thing is clear; all are artists. And so can you be. Check out this book. It's an inspiration.
